The intricate blowing technique to create this stunning Cane vase uses handmade coloured, glass canes fused into the molten crystal clear glass from the glass furnace. Ola Höglund is well known for the use of bold colour combinations.
Each cane vase is individual, and unable to be repeated – “even if we tried we would not be able to duplicate them’ – this makes each one unique and each differs due to the techniques used, flow of the colours and the handmade canes.
